OFFICIAL: Joe Ledley Joins Crystal Palace Permanently

Joe Ledley has been confirmed as a Crystal Palace player this evening subject to Premier League clearance, after a fee was agreed between ourselves and Celtic for his services this morning.

The 27-year-old, who has played 157 times for the Glasgow club, also has 50 caps for the Wales national side, after a career which began at Cardiff City in 2004, where he made 256 appearances.

Whilst exact figures over his transfer are uncertain, Palace are thought to have secured the Welshman’s services for a bargain price, given the fact that his contract with Celtic was due to expire this summer, leaving them with little option other than to accept our offer to take him off their hands.

His signing brings an extremely satisfying transfer window to an end for Crystal Palace, with the deals we have concluded giving the fans and players alike real hope that a push for Premier League survival could end successfully in May.

After years of seeing very little positive activity at the end of every transfer window, this January has seen us well and truly spoilt.

I’m sure all Palace fans are feeling extremely content with our business this evening.

OFFICIAL: Tom Ince Finally Joins Crystal Palace On Loan

It has finally been confirmed that Tom Ince has joined Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season on loan from Blackpool, subject to Premier League clearance.

After a protracted transfer saga which saw the winger flirt with the likes of Swansea and Stoke City amongst others, the board have finally convinced him to sign on the dotted line, as he looks to aid us in our bid for survival and potentially earn himself a move to an elite club when he becomes a free agent in the summer.

The move had been in doubt earlier today, when Stoke placed a bid of £7 million for the permanent transfer of Ince, but with the player desperate not to commit his long-term future to The Potters despite the hopes of the Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston, the Seasiders were left with little option but to accept our loan offer for the midfielder.

It’s a deal which will excite Palace fans everywhere, with Ince having proven himself to be a real attacking threat in his time at Bloomfield Road.

Could we stay up? It’s looking more and more likely.
