Lee Chung-Yong Slates “Hot Head” Pardew In Amazingly Critical Interview

Lee Chung-Yong has hit out at his “hot headed” manager Alan Pardew in an explosive interview in which he declares a desire to leave the club this summer.

This astonishing outburst from Lee Chung-Yong sees him criticise Alan Pardew in almost every way imaginable. He’s fuming.

Having not played that often since joining Palace from Bolton Wanderers in 2015, the South Korean has offered an astonishing rant in which he criticises his current boss on numerous levels.

No doubt frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities afforded to him during his stay at Selhurst Park, Lee has suggested that the manager’s approach to team selection is to blame for Palace’s slump since Christmas and has all but demanded to leave once the season comes to a close.

Despite an incredible strike to secure victory away at Stoke in December, the midfielder has struggled to win over the hearts of the Eagles supporters, or it seems, that of his manager. Understandably frustrated, you may have wondered whether or not he harboured private resentment of Pardew, but thanks to his recent outburst, we have seen a player break ranks in spectacular fashion to slate his manager.

Quite how the club and Pardew in particular will approach this situation in the coming days will be of interest, given the extreme nature of the criticism put forward by Lee, but you can be almost certain that he won’t be on our books by August.

Does a spell in the reserves beckon? I wouldn’t bet against it.
