VIDEO: All Six Of Palace’s Goals From Comfortable Pre-Season Win

Palace’s friendly against Bromley last night saw a goal glut for the Eagles, with Alan Pardew’s side putting on a show for those in attendance with a 6-0 victory.

After arriving on loan recently, Patrick Bamford grabbed the opportunity to impress with both hands, bagging a quick fire hat-trick to put the game out of the host’s reach after just 20 minutes, delighting the thousands of Palace fans who’d made their way to the game.

With the other goals coming through Sullay Kaikai, Dwight Gayle (obviously) and fan-favourite Wilfried Zaha, the players were able to coast in the closing stages of the game, as they ready themselves for a high-octane game at Carrow Road in just eight days time.

Of course, Bromley didn’t exactly provide stiff opposition for a squad full of Premier League regulars, but with fitness and game time pivotal to every player’s pre-season training regime, they will all have felt good for the experience, with the likes of Christian Scales and Luke Croll clearly over the moon to have played a big part in such a convincing win as they look to prove their worth to Alan Pardew before the weekly grind of the Premier League gets underway.

Below are tweets from the fantastic CPFC GIFS with footage of all six Palace goals for you to watch at your leisure.

Twitter Reacts To Crystal Palace’s 6-0 Pre-Season Victory

Crystal Palace took an extremely strong side, including the likes of Patrick Bamford, Dwight Gayle and Wilfried Zaha to Bromley last night, with the corresponding 6-0 win highlighting the obvious gulf in class between the two sides.

It was a frantic start to the game, with the Eagles establishing a 4-0 lead, thanks to one goal from Sullay Kaikai and a mightily impressive hat-trick from Chelsea loanee Bamford in what was his first appearance in a Palace shirt on these shores.

Showing the poise and ruthless streak of a goalscorer with a point to prove, the 21-year-old set the tone for the rest of the evening, with Gayle and Zaha adding a goal a piece after the interval to seal a stylish win over the non-league outfit.

With Alan Pardew set to take his squad to face Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow, preparations for the resumption of Premier League football next Saturday are now well underway, and if last night’s performance is anything to go by, Bamford could prove to be a real hit with the Palace faithful.
